These Charcoal Tablets are required as a heat or diffusing medium to disperse the smell of the incense granules. You light a charcoal tablet with a match or cigarette lighter, wait till a few sparks start to appear, then place the charcoal on a incense burner, small dish or bowl, when the charcoal is fully lit you sprinkle about half a teaspoon of incense granules on top of the tablet. The incense will start to smoke and the beautiful aroma will disperse into the room in the form of a beautiful white smoke.
